Question

A cylinder is inscribed in a fixed cone of radius 2c and height c. The vertical axis of symmetry of both solids are the same. The circumferences of the circular ends of the cylinder being contact with the base and the curved surface of the cone. If the radius of the cylinder is x cm, find the volume and the total surface area of the cylinder in the terms of c and x.
