Workers are pulling a 210kg piano up a building using a massless rope over a frictionless pulley, as shown(image in thumbnail ). At lunchtime, they tie the rope to a 260 kg desk, leaving the piano dangling 3.0 m above the ground. unfortunately, the desk begins to slide as the floor is essentially friction less.
a) Draw a free body diagram for each object, labeling all the forces and components. b) what are the tension in the rope and the acceleration of the desk? c) how long will it take fo the piano to strike the ground?
